•	[[Billy Milligan]] went the rest of the way and mostly prevented further damage

•	Manager [[Connie Mack]] moved [[Jack Hayden]] from right field to center field, swapping him with [[Phil Geier]]

•	Mack was rumored to have signed shortstop Truck Eagan from San Francisco in the California League
